Kimera Fashion Series - Part 7 (2012)

Cobalt nervously strapped the bell collar onto his neck. With a bit of nervous fluttering, he spoke the words softly to himself, concentrating hard.

"I'm a girl. I'm a--"

He wrenched forward as breasts grew from his chest in an instant and his center of balance shifted. His crotch transformed quickly as well, making him suddenly sick to his stomach.

Cobalt's fully female form sunk into a nearby chair. She sat, dazed, baffled by the speed of the change. It had never come that easily before...and she realized that, unlike every other time, she didn't have to spend a minute concentrating to keep her body from reverting back to male.

Maybe she was just getting used to the changes. Maybe she had tapped into the full enchantment of the collar. Or...

She shook her head, feeling her silvery-white locks flutter behind her. This was the last day of the shoot. She just had to make it through this day, then she could take the collar back to the store that fashioned it. There was time to figure this out. But for now, her only thoughts had to be on Iris' career-defining photo shoot.

Iris greeted Cobalt's female form with a warm smile and a hug. "I swear, you get prettier every time I see you like that. Come on over here. The girls put something special together for your big day."

"My big...?" Cobalt began to say, until her eyes fell on the fabric Yukino and Sakaki were carrying.

It was a glistening wedding gown, sleeveless and form-fitting, with a support loop to be strapped around her neck. The elegance was in its minimalist design. There were no frills, visible attachments, jewels or lace. It was a cylinder of silk that shone vibrantly under the studio lights.

"Do you like it?" Iris asked.

The kimera tore his starry eyes away from the ensemble to give Iris a grateful smile. "I do."

In short order, the dress was wrapped around Cobalt and the kimera was properly primped for the occasion. Her hair was gently combed as straight as possible, her horns and hooves were polished, and Iris applied a small enhancement to her eyelashes. For the sake of the subdued color palette, Cobalt had the normally dark blue shoulder and chest fur shorn off, in favor of the short gray fur that covered most of her body. The dress hugged her legs to give her a delicate posture, before billowing out in a small pool around her hooves. It restricted her to a very small stride, but she wouldn't be walking down any aisles for this photograph.

Cobalt had never felt more beautiful in her entire time as a girl. After all the clothing she had tried on, both in Iris' studio and in the privacy of her home, nothing felt quite so pleasant to wear and made her quite so proud to be seen.

"It's incredible. Honestly," Cobalt said to Yukino and Sakaki. "I am in love with it."

"Then why don't you marry it?" Iris asked, as she set her camera up on its tripod.

Cobalt shot her a disappointed pout.

"Okay, lame joke. Sorry."

"You oughta be."

"It is simply our passion," Yukino replied. "We put everything into these dresses so the people who wear them can feel passionate themselves."

"Mission accomplished," Cobalt said. He watched Sakaki flatten the hem of the dress across the floor to make it pool as gently as possible. "Hey, isn't there supposed to be a train?"

"We thought of that," Iris said with a smirk. "But...you'll have to grow it for us."

It only took a second for Cobalt to realize what that meant.
